Carlton Farmers Market is on every Saturday from 8am to 1pm at Carlton North Primary School, with entry from O'Grady Street. It's one of three markets run by Melbourne Farmers Markets (MFM), accredited by the Victorian Farmers' Markets Association — meaning every stall sells only what the producer grew, reared or made themselves. You'll find seasonal Victorian fruit and veg, free-range eggs and meat, cheese, bread, pastries and honey. Dogs on leads are welcome, and entry is a voluntary $2 card donation.
