Spring produce list

Avocados

Spring is peak avocado season, with Hass supply from Western Australia and New South Wales at full production September through November.

Beans

Fresh beans come into season in spring (green, butter and runner varieties), with Queensland leading production as temperatures warm.

Blueberries

Blueberry season peaks through spring and into early summer, with farms across New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

Broccoli

Broccoli peaks in early spring. Victoria (Gippsland, Robinvale) and Western Australia's south-west hit their highest volumes in September, with Queensland maintaining steady supply as the southern regions wind down by November.

Cauliflower

Cauliflower is available year-round, with spring crops from Victoria and Queensland producing particularly firm, white curds.

Cherries

Late spring marks the start of cherry season. NSW orchards in Hillston and Narromine open from mid-October, followed by Young, Orange and South Australia's Mount Lofty Ranges, with Victoria and WA supply building through November before Tasmania starts picking in December.

Lettuce

Spring is prime lettuce season, with cos, iceberg, butter and oak leaf varieties all at good supply in the mild conditions.

Mangoes

The first mangoes of the season arrive from the Northern Territory and Queensland in late spring, with Kensington Pride (Bowen) leading from October.

Oranges

Navel oranges from the Riverland and Riverina are still in good supply in early spring, with Valencia oranges arriving in late spring for juicing.
