Coburg Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 8am to 1pm on the grounds of Coburg Primary School, 92 Bell Street (entry from Urquhart Street). Part of the Melbourne Farmers Markets network, it draws 30-plus Victorian producers and small food businesses each week. The school grounds add a bit of character — there are resident chickens, a composting setup and a piano on a permanent stage. Dogs on leads are welcome, and a voluntary $2 donation helps support the school.
