Mulgowie Markets run on the first Saturday of each month from 8am to 11am at the Mulgowie Hall, about an hour west of Brisbane in the heart of the Lockyer Valley. You'll find farm-fresh vegetables, grass-fed beef and lamb, baked goods, coffee, and a solid range of handmade craft stalls in a genuinely rural setting. It's a compact but well-stocked market — arrive early, as the produce stalls do sell out.
