On the first Saturday of every month from 9am to 1pm, the Pelican Foreshore Markets set up along Lakeview Parade on the shores of Lake Macquarie. You'll find local makers, growers and food stalls, and the market runs a twilight summer series when the warmer months roll around. Dogs are welcome, and the foreshore setting makes for a relaxed morning even if you leave empty-handed.
