Tallarook Farmers Market runs on the first Sunday of every month except January, 9am to 1pm, at the Tallarook Mechanics Institute on Main Road — less than an hour from Melbourne. You'll find seasonal fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread, mushrooms, cheese, meat, wine, honey, ferments, and more, alongside handmade items from local artisans. It's been running since 2009 and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
